The first phase of a £7m warehouse development in South Yorkshire has been completed.
Brookfields Park in the Dearne Valley, Rotherham is an 85 acre site owned by St Pauls Developments and Tritax.
Property consultants Knight Frank, brokered the deal which has seen the Yorkshire brand, Pegler Yorkshire Group, whom are manufacturers of fittings, taps and valves, become the latest tenant at the site.
The pre-letting of the 104,000 sq ft development will see Pegler Yorkshire group consolidate it’s Barnsley and Doncaster warehouses. Ian Howarth, Financial Director at Pegler Yorkshire Group has noted that the location for the warehouse “is geographically excellent. It’s got a perfect location and proximity to the transport network combined with a sound financial package”.
